I tried to ask him to read it too, but he refuses to believe in the wikipedia
I know I've given him credible dictionary sites as well. But I've given up on
debating him so far it seems it has only caused aggression, and I'm not to fond
of that.

Thank you! And it's very nice to meet you!
Wow, you're very similar to me. I am also very interested in politics.
Your Welcome! It's good to find someone else who is interested in politics, as
well as someone who cares about human rights and the environment. It's very
rare.
I see you've been debating on the forums lately with kingray, i've just walked
away from debating with him for now, it only wastes eneregy that could be better
spent.
But on a lighter topic i want to thank you for keeping yourself active in the
Gay-Straight-Club
Quote by Brinyes my friend recently showed
me some pete seeger and i've always liked woody guthrie but other than that i
really don't know any other folk bands, have any good
recommendations?
Wow i can't believe someone else on MT listens to Pete Seeger and Woody
Guthry.
Pete Seeger's Album If I had a Hammer: Songs of Hope and Struggle is
great.
As too recommendations, here are some Contemporary Folk artists.

i've Gone To Quebec, Ontario, and Alberta.

Quote by kingray100i dont think people
who dont believe in God are evil.I would be wrong if i said people who didnt
believe in God were bad. There are some really nice people out there, but if your
a religious person, then you better not mention it in front of them or a rivalry
could start.

dragged both my parents into a room and straight out told them... It went pretty
well, seems both of them are accepting, but just kind of found it weird I

did i missed out anything? mind to remind me again?
She told her parents she was bisexual i believe... Thanks again for posting in
the group you add another layer of intellect, but do you have any interest in
joining?
Quote by yothsothgothWow. Everyone's
going on vacation. O_O
Oh, btw... has anyone seen the movie: "Who Killed The Electric Car?" I
saw it tonight and it made me sick. The politics behind it and the money...
oooh... made me soo mad!
People making money off of oil and they don't care about global warming... argh!
...then they destroyed the EV-1... because they were "too fuel
efficient".
I don't like being reminded about how people are so stupid. Argh, car
companies... oil companies... are responsible!
It's Johnny! no just kidding i'm back from my time in DC but yes i have seen who
killed the electric car, i saw it in theaters, a very good, very sad
movie.
Quote by littlejonny100I already
left this thread because it had become obviously off-topic however I'm now back
to add a more solid remark. I'm not sure how much you picked up kingray100 but I
have spent most my life in fairly religious environments. Of those 8 years were
spent in a christian orientated school. I haven't just been told about
christianity but have explored it myself, as I'm sure many other atheists here
have done and can understand a mentality simple to yours. In saying this I
wanted to point out that I think most people posting here already know what your
replies will be well before you post as well as which posts you'll choose to
ignore (and probably aren't far from the mark every time).
I've doubted god for a very long time, however I've always repected religion and
been on the deciding line about any doubts for religion itself. It's people like
you who have driven me well and truly to the other side of the line. From not
believing in god, your bigotry has made me no longer believe in religion either.
You say your trying to spread the truth. If you want god to have more followers
I think you should just stop telling people about him because your pushy
attitude is doing nothing but pushing people further from him.
I'm quite confident everyone here who had questions will agree with me, they've
never been further from the truth. If you just want to prove YOUR point then
post to your hearts content however if you truly want people to have more belief
in christianty, your posts here (in an atheist only thread) are only making it
look bad.
Wow, just a magnificent post, and absolutely right on target.

thanks man for the comment, so hows everything there in cali?
Quote by Faffy09Ok, im new on here and
every thing so im not sure what im supossed to do , but i do want to say that
Kingray is a friend of mine and that he is not that bad. Sure, he likes to
spread the word about christianity alot and he has some harsh opinions, but its
just because he is opinionated. I have only talked to him for a few days but he
is a good person and he is just doing what is right in his eyes. And if we start
bashin on believers, wouldnt that make us just like some of the believers who
bash on us? I myself dont mind other religions, I have friends from other
religions. I just judge people by the good that i know that they have in them.
How bout yall?
Well most of us don't belive in god in this group but we usually talk about
religon, philosophy and sometimes history.
As too kinggray we don't think he's bad. We just take issue with some of his
opinions because they are extreme.
There isn't one, but i personally(as the founder of the Gay-Straight-Club) was
going to expand it's terms to include transgenders because ifeel it falls
closely into the range of sexual orientation discrimination. Truthfully if your
interested in joining either group i'd be very glad if you joined, i need more
people who are good at conversations.
I would like to invite you to the MT-Atheists(freethinkers, thiests everyones
allowed), i invited you because i think you have some very good thoughts on
religon(saw some of your posts in the religous and science forum) and we like
having people who have different beliefs.
I think you should be more friendly to other posters kingray, and it is his
bussines. It's against MT policy to revive threads that are older then 4 weeks or
so, he was just trying to help. Moderators will come and close down threads like
the one you revived, and sometimes give the person who revived them a warning if
you do it too much.
Do not take this as a negative post, this is just a friendly heads up.
How are you doing, haven't talked to you in about three months.
I know I've given him credible dictionary sites as well. But I've given up on debating him so far it seems it has only caused aggression, and I'm not to fond of that.

I'll tell you if we need a moderator in one of the groups!
As too rurouni Kenshin, you really don't find out about it in the anime series, only in the manga, after the shishio battles and such.
If you want to see his past in animation, it was animated, but not as part as the series but in movies.
Called Trust and Betryal.
